El Che Steakhouse Chicago

It was an amazing dinner, the steak was a perfect medium and the provoleta was great as a side to accompany the steak Everything, everything was on point! From the ease of making the reservation, to the host’s and initial contact, Q on service, Matt on management, and yo. The actual food?! Outstanding. Presentation, flavor, texture, and portion sizes were all exceptional. Highly recommend! And I too will be back no doubt

 Reviews

This is a nice little spot in west loop, the food was good and the service was outstanding. The highlight for me was the wine, they have a great South American selection of wines and the Pet Nats are specially outstanding. We had a reservation at 7:30 but where not seated until 8:00 which makes sense since it was very busy specially on a Tuesday night and we had a large group so that’s completely understandable. The food was good however I personally feel that it was a little under seasoned to my taste. Other then that great experience. This place was Wonderful!!! From the food to the staff. Way to go Leo!!! The Chef’s Table was Awesome

For drinks, I had the full frontal, very refreshing. My bride had the melody lemon, that one wasn’t so hot We shared a Romanian Wedge Salad, very refreshing. My bride and I shared the dry aged tomahawk and boy it was worth every penny. Great beef flavor, tender juicy and cooked to perfection My daughters had the filet, she enjoyed every last bite The sides, can’t say enough about the sides.

We couldn’t decide so we got the garlic frites, the broccoli & cauliflower, heirloom tomatoes and for good measure, I ordered the bone marrow Everything was as advertised, flavorful and well seasoned feast The services was outstanding as well If you’re looking for an alternative to the traditional American steakhouse, I strongly recommend El Che Looking forward to a revisit

Meat roasting on live fire smelled so good inside, but stopped by just for drinks on the patio. Located in a quieter West Loop street, had a couple bottles of South American wine and warm olives. Need to come back for the Octopus. Does have a Happy Hour Tues-Sat 5-6pm, occasional pop ups

El Che was a slam dunk. Although we were not able to enjoy the bar before being seated (Understandably busy) we stepped out to a local bar and came back to be seated. Christian was our waiter and he nailed it. The food, the service, and the atmosphere was all on par to comparable restaurants with a reasonably lower price. Overall, great experience and a huge part was because of Christians service!

Went there for an anniversary dinner and sat at the bar for happy hour. The beef fat fries are to die for! And the mule has its own little twist to it and it was absolutely delicious. Trey did a wonderful job helping us celebrate our special night. Will definitely come back again! Loved this place! The food and drinks were amazing! The staff was also great! Words really can’t describe how pleased I was during my first visit. I will be back
