Had a great time at this place! I had the moussaka and my partner had the pork pita. Both were delicious. The fried calamari was one of the best we’ve had in a long time. Definitely will be back. Also, the ambiance was wonderful Solid meal overall. Saganaki was surprisingly good – I really enjoyed the unique addition of peppered figs.
Both the short rib and lamb shoulder were tender and hearty dishes, though not especially flavorful. Service was very attentive and helpful The food here was pretty good! Went during happy hour and the drinks were strong and delicious! Got the hummus platter and that wad some of the best humus and spreads I have ever had. The pita was like a honey pita, way better than regular pita. I also got the chicken souvlaki, the rice that came with it was a little dry.
They also have no kind of hot sauce? Like none at all? Which was a little abnormal. But overall, the food was good, service was decent. The greek potatoes were overwhelmingly lemony but other than that, pretty good.

First time in Chicago and this was the first place I we tried and it was so delicious!!! The atmosphere outside is so amazing at night they literally close off a block of the street for outdoor seating and it’s always busy! We got the chicken skewers and the chicken gyro and it was worth the price let me tell you!! Our server was also amazing!! Would highly recommend you ask for lindsey when you visit

Had brunch at Avli during restaurant week and the food and drinks did not disappoint! The sangria was delicious The only downside was the patio got too warm for comfort during a sunny winter day because there are no shades to pull down.
There were several requests from patrons to turn down the heat which they did. Overall enjoyed our experience! Such good food and ambiance!! the wait staff is also amazing! Always have the best time! I’ve been there 2 times for lunch and dinner and this weekend for a big group dinner with 15 of us and it was perfect! I love that they also have a dj on weekends! My favorite is the shrimp appetizer and lamb chops!! But seriously everything is delicious

Food was absolutely amazing. Got the calamari appetizer, very good. Got the chicken kababob skewers as my meal. Really good lots of flavor cooked well and juicy. Service was good got a few beers , we even went around 8-9 ish and service was still good that late. 10/10 would recommend. Nice place. Great ambience too. Amazing everything. Authentic Greek food. Brilliant service that is unbelievably fast. Take your time ordering because your food will be there in like 30 seconds. Cocktails are unbelievable. Save room for dessert
