We made online reservations and were warmly greeted, seated promptly even though we arrived early. The knowledgeable server checked on us regularly.

The menu had plenty of food and drink options, including an extensive wine selection.

The Old Fashioned was a standout. For appetizers, we enjoyed Roasted Garlic and Fontina Arancini, while the Garlic Crusted NY Strip and Branzino were delightful mains. The Ricotta Cheesecake was a perfect dessert.

Everything tasted fresh and delicious, making us eager to return and explore more. A true gem and highly recommended dining spot.

Great place and location. Great appetizers. Friendly and attentive staff. I just wished the tacos that I ordered had more flavor in them. The “crispy” pork lacked the crispiness I was anticipating. The salsa on the side, I hate to say this, was more like tomato paste that came out of a can.

The chips and guacamole were bland and uninspired. The true savior, for me, was really that 3-tier appetizer. The fried brussels sprouts had the flavor my tacos were missing. The bruschetta and cheese (either gouda or feta) had that crunch I was looking. And the deviled eggs just made everything heavenly.

What a lovely place. The service was excellent, and the food delicious. We ordered the shrimp cocktail (they serve it by the amount of shrimp you want), with 4 very large shrimp. I had the lemon chicken which was very well made, and my friend had a salad. It was nice, not the best. For dessert we both had their crème brûlée. Very good. Creamy, rich and a pure delight. I’ll definitely be going there again The reason for 4 stars (wish I could give 4 1/2, though) as opposed to 5 is that the salad wasn’t great and the place was a little dark inside even at midday

Loved the setup, such a sweet setup–lots of small thoughtful details to give the location a historical feel. From the front entrance to the back porch space everything was clean and classy. Go for the atmosphere stay for the specials, our group had each of the items listed and we were throughly pleased. Our server John, was awesome–he was informative and attentive. Truly a great experience for our first visit to Yardley.

The Yardley Inn Restaurant and Barr was an excellent dining experience. The view of the Delaware River was a nice touch and should be requested. The seeded, cracker-like bread served before the dinner was original and a refreshing deviation from the usual slices bread (although that was served as well). The Asian wings — served as an 8-piece appetizer — were very flavorful and very plump. The shaved ribeye cheese steak was absolutely phenomenal: the meat was extremely tender and every bite loaded with cheese.

The bun was very fresh. The plate came with a generous side of fresh-cut fries. The Thai Chicken Burger was also delightful. The chicken was a tad dry, but one would hardly notice, as the delicious sriracha mayo more than compensated for it. It would be nice to return, as my party was only in the mood for hot sandwiches and finger food. It would be interesting to try the other entrees, such as the filet mignon and pork chops.

finally

Super cozy place! Love that it overlooks the river. Nice beer/wine/cocktail selection. Got the calamari and it was delicious and huge! Will be back when I come visit again!
