Absolute Thai Restaurant Washington DC
Absolute Thai Restaurant in Washington DC restaurant lies near the heart of the Chinatown. I visited the place in a freezing winter evening and decided to eat something very spicy to warm my body. I ordered the Jungle plate with beef and the dish didn’t let me down. The flaming hot taste almost made me sweat! The portion size was just right. A little pricy but is acceptable (in D.C.).

I know that Pad Thai is the white bread of the Thai food world but I love it and this place made some great Pad Thai, maybe the best I’ve ever had. They had a very extensive menu of other stuff that I just couldn’t get myself to step out of my safety zone and try, although I’m sure it would all be fabulous.

Just take note that when you go to the bathroom here, that the sink is actually communal and outside of the bathroom. I went into the one bathroom that had a sink and was frustrated when there were no towels or soap. Well there are, just outside the bathroom door.

Dealing with terrible joint issues and normally wouldn’t order out… but couldn’t stand up long enough to cook tonight. Found them by chance, decided to give them a try. First time on GrubHub to order anything. The Thai iced tea is delicious. I also ordered the spring rolls, which were fabulous. The pad Thai container was so full that I’m still eating, and I got the food over a half hour ago.
