Small dishes, but everything is pretty on par as far as quality goes. Tapas style dishes with very interesting presentation. Drinks were pretty good. Atmosphere is also pretty good, good choice of music. Waiters were very welcoming and nice which definitely adds to the great vibe here.

One of the best bottomless brunches in DC. Great value and friendly staff. Very cute outdoor seating area. Big variety of drinks – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Plus, good variety for vegetarians. Don’t miss the baclava!

Amazing authentic Turkish food. The drinks will astound you. The intriguing mix of flavors but watch out for that Golden Horn drink, it’s super spicy. All the food came out lightening fast and everything was delicious. The lamb fell apart and the sauces that came with it enhanced it so much. The Pitas warmed the heart and complemented everything. The duck prosciutto was savory. Again everything was amazing and whatever questioned we had were answered in such a heart warming way. There $24 2 drinks and 2 wines are a great deal for dinner.

My fiancé and I dined at Ala for the first time this weekend and it was incredible! We have lived in DC for 6 years and tried various Mediterranean restaurants but Ala was by far the best we’ve had! The lamb and calamari were amazing, as well as the cocktails and spreads. Overall, amazing experience! Anyone who loves good food needs to try Ala!
