Atwood restaurant The atmosphere was amazing; small and intimate but a worldly menu. The staff was amazing, couldn’t have been better. Food was fantastic

sometimes you just need to scale up your comfort food, even at fancy restaurants. so I did exactly that. Grilled cheese with pesto and tomato on a chilly night? It was the perfect choice
Recommended foods
Highly suggest making reservations! Such a great lunch
Many of the cocktails looked good but we got got the lion’s tail
The spinach artichoke dip was really good! Seemed like the spinach was chopped/blended well so that it looked almost like a pesto dip! Very good
The Brussels sprouts has a great sauce that it was served in. They were not crunchy/fried, but more like steamed and baked. (I’m guessing)
The burger and the fried chicken sandwich are both great choices for your main
Definitely will return for another meal sometime

We enjoyed our breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were large and very filling. The outside of the biscuits were very crunchy and the inside was very soft and fluffy. Great combination. Very impressed with the butter and jam as well. Kinda shocking, but the jam was very tasteful. Egg white omelette was good but a little undersized. All in all a great breakfast. Would recommend

Quirky atmosphere, friendly staff. I got the biscuits & gravy with eggs, and that was just pretty good. I enjoyed my meal! Was it $42 good, B&G/drink/tip? No. But these are Chicago prices, pay to play…and it was tasty & I was treated kindly

Great place for a Sunday brunch in the Loop or for a nice meal after having visited te nearby Art Institute. They offer all “brunch classics” so everyone in your party will certainly find something that they like. The chicken and waffle and the potato pancakes with pork belly are my favorite

Not a large menu, and it doesn’t provide many options for dietary restrictions, but the food and drinks we did get were good, and the service was good
Great place for a bite to eat (salmon was excellent) with friendly service. Plus, one of the few places in Chicago that makes a whiskey sour the right way — with egg whites
