My daughter recommended Baked and Wired at Washington DC for a special occasion. The strawberry cake was delicious ordered online. The cupcakes randomly bought during pick up of the cake were also delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Great service in and outside of the store. I had a couple questions and left a message and the team responded quickly. Suggestion…Website needs to have a date request for the order to see availability before you get to the checkout screen.

Everytime I’m in Georgetown this little spot is a must! The coffee paired with fresh treats and a friendly knowledgeable staff makes for a memorable spot. Excellent for a date or of your stopping for a quick staple on your way through the city.

15 min line to get in an order on a Saturday morning. Or you can order online and there is a separate pickup line. The staff was doing a good job getting through people quickly. My favorite cupcake is the strawberry, and highly recommend their homemade granola which they call hippie crack.

Best cupcakes around hands down. My top three favorites in order were the Razmanian Devil, the carrot cake and the Texas. I want to try one of pretty much everything they sell.
Update: tried the s’mores bar today and that is my new favorite

Love the cupcakes! Went several times and it is always so hard to choose only a few, as they offer so many attractive flavors. I think the carrot cake one is my favorite… Service is always really nice too. But I have been disappointed by the matcha latte, taste just like plain milk, and I had to wait for a really long time to have it.
I recommend ordering online because great cupcakes = usually huge line in front of the shop!
