Wow, def a place worth checking out. The food was incredible and the service on point. Do yourself a favor and get the dumpling sampler and something with lamb
Had lunch here with a friend. We shared an Aushuk appetizer and each had one of the stew main course. Also, loved the complimentary bread and dips. Food is delicious and service is great! I am a big fan of Afghan Bistro in Springfield, VA. I’m glad the family decided to open the restaurant in this neighborhood as it’s closer to my house.

A true gem! I absolutely looooove this place, all the vegetarian dishes can be made vegan upon request, spiced so well, service is great and the drinks are delicious. Will be adding this location to my regular rotation!
All of the food I’ve ever had here is like grandma is in the kitchen cooking and is pouring all of her love for you in every dish. Everything is always perfectly cooked, perfectly spiced, and amazing. One of my favorites in DC!

This was a great experience. A friend’s husband recommended this restaurant and I am glad he did. The food was excellent and so was the service! Will definitely be back.
Amazing food! Quorma and lamb chops were absolutely delicious. The bread appetizer with dips was also amazing. A bit on the pricey side but worth it!
