Buffalo Block Prime Steakhouse Restaurant Montana was the perfect place for a quiet, romantic dinner. The food and drinks were superb, server treated us like honored friends. Table location was perfect, ambiance beautiful. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved it! I drove all the way to Montana from New Jersey for some good steak, and I got more than I could’ve imagined. From the moment I arrived, the ambiance was sophisticated and welcoming.

The server was excellent and the food just as great! I was served an onion/garlic roll which was out of this world.

My steak was made to perfection and the garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. The restroom was super clean and downstairs. So glad I came. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a high quality steak.

We visited Buffalo Block for the first time and we were absolutely impressed! I had the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection. It was so good I could taste almost every flavor of the seasoning and still taste the (locally-sourced) beef! The portions were on point. My husband had the bone-in (also locally-sourced) pork chop and it was HUGE! But still soft and juicy while being thoroughly cooked. The server was so gracious and attentive, even for as busy as she was. Overall, a great experience that must be repeated!

Super nice restaurant. Beautiful interior with a full bar. The staff was incredible. The food was quite pricey, but the level of service we experienced made it worth it! Fresh baked roll with a baked cheese top. Absolutely delicious way to start the meal. We had the half order shrimp cocktail and it was fantastic. A little more horseradish in the sauce would have been amazing.

Both of us got the filet, perfect medium rare cook. The asparagus and fingerling potatoes were sensational. The lobster mac and cheese was incredible as well. The sauce was a little runny and collected on the bottom of the bowl, but dipping the noodles back in was fine. Would have been epic with a thicker sauce. Nice crispy bread crumb topping gave the mac and cheese an awesome texture.

Everything I hoped for. Asked for my steak to be medium rare and to have a nice char on the outside and was prepared to perfection! Taste exceeded the price. Gained a patron that is sure to share our experience.
Next visit, I’ll be ready for a Tomahawk, can’t wait.

Every aspect of our meal was amazing. Loved that we weren’t rushed through our courses. There was attention to detail in everything from place settings to house churned butter to ensuring our steaks were prepared to our desired temperatures. The table side prepared Caesar salad was a fun experience, leading to a very delicious and fresh salad. The overall experience and quality of the food justifies the price. We would highly recommend to others.

Very classy, the chefs had great guidance, and the waitstaff we’re very professional and courteous. The food was so good and my steak perfectly cooked. I never thought I would like crème brulee more than cheesecake but it was insanely delicious.

We ate here for a special occasion. The food was great. Our server wasn’t so great however but she tried. Took a LONG time to get our orders, to get bread, to get our entrees and get the check. Also other servers were giving the tables around us things to try from the chef, we didn’t get that opportunity as our server was not seen very often.
