El Fuego Peruvian Kitchen Washington DC

El Fuego Peruvian Kitchen Washington DC Great little shop serving up some unique and tasty Peruvian food. Got the pork sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries, as well as a pork tamale. Good service and reasonable prices. Definitely a great option for lunch or an early dinner.

The food here is fresh and exceptional! An example: My avocado stuffed with garlic shrimp turned out to be a beautiful salad, with half an avocado out of the shell resting on crisp greens, scattered with chilled fresh shrimp, small pieces of fresh red pepper, and a grain. It came with a spicy, creamy dressing

Wow, that was good. First time trying and I’m super impressed. Friendly staff and also feels covid safe for takeout.
I got the pan con chicharron, yuca fries, and ceviche. The portion was incredibly generous for sandwich and fries. The ceviche tasted super fresh. Service was also fast and everyone was so friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Excellent food and great service. Great menu with plenty of choices. Owners are very friendly. This place was worth driving for over 2 hours. We will definitely come back!
Great food, old favorites well made plus some new flavors to try. Super nice service and relaxed atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back.
Really great new restaurant. I had the “award winning” pork sandwich, which was very good. El Feugo’s stand-out ingredient is their signature sauce, which is basically a spicy version of a traditional Peruvian sauce. Friendly staff. Looking forward to going back and trying their other items.
