Real experience
We were visiting the area from Maine and happened into the Mumbai Times from a Google search. Well I have to say this has got to be one of the best Indian meals we ever had. Our diet is completely plant based and there were plenty of great choices! The restaurant staff and the owner were so awesomely nice, just really nice people. Prices were completely reasonable, such great value for the incredible food. I definitely suggest you stop by when you are in the area.

Upon entering, guests are greeted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, adorned with elegant decor that reflects the rich cultural heritage of India. The attentive staff ensures a seamless dining experience, catering to every need with professionalism and a genuine smile. Now, onto the star of the show—the food. Mumbai Times delivers an authentic taste of India, with each dish bursting with vibrant spices and bold flavors. From classic favorites like Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Biryani to more adventurous options like Paneer Butter Masala and Chole Bhature, every bite is a culinary delight.
One of the standout features of Mumbai Times is its commitment to freshness and quality. The ingredients are sourced carefully, and it shows in the taste and presentation of each dish. Whether you’re a vegetarian, vegan, or a meat lover, there are plenty of options to satisfy every palate.
In addition to the mouthwatering mains, Mumbai Times also offers a selection of appetizers, bread, and desserts that are equally impressive. The Garlic Naan is a must-try, perfectly fluffy and fragrant, while the Mango Lassi provides a refreshing and sweet conclusion to the meal.
Overall, Mumbai Times Restaurant in Greenwich CT is a gem in the culinary scene, offering an unforgettable dining experience that transports diners to the streets of Mumbai. With its combination of exceptional food, attentive service, and inviting ambiance, it’s no wonder this restaurant remains a favorite among locals and visitors alike

Great staff, very considerate. Ordered a large banquet takeout meal for 8 and told them one person has a severe garlic allergy and they made certain dishes for us without garlic and labeled any tray/sauce that had garlic. Nice extra level of service. Food is always great here 5* Home style simple food. I am a vegetarian and there are plenty of vegetarian options here. Phulka is amazing. The staff is super nice. Seating space is less though, but a homely environment doesnt make you feel that.

Modest restaurant for a fancy name. Service and host were great but food needs plenty flavors. The medley was a lot of dry meat. The lamb rogan josh was a sweet curry. Taj Mahal beer was good as ever but the papad appeared oven roasted and bland. For a delhi based owner with Nepali chef the north indian food needs much to be desired. If only Indian food could be judged by colors and flavors!

Had a wonderful experience at Mumbai times Cos Cob, staff was very accommodating, generous and kind. The food was delicious and carefully prepared to my specific needs/taste. My compliments to chef, back of house & wait staff. Lucky to have this gem nearby. Recommended to anyone on the area that enjoys trying new cuisine and/or loves Indian food.
finally
Absolute top quality! The service here is unmatched, and the food as well. Please try the Tamarind Eggplant – this crunchy, deep-fried, sweet appetizer is exceptional! Of course, everything is. All food is made with love and treated as art!
