Haad Thai Restaurant Washington DC

Haad Thai Restaurant in Washington DC Wonderful restaurant in downtown DC! Down the street from The Grand Hyatt. Vast menu with plenty of great options. My family is vegetarian and don’t eat fish either. We were pleasantly pleased with their vegetarian menu items that could be made without fish sauce. The portion sizes were generous and they will make spice levels from mild to very spicy.

I am thai. And this is as authentic as it is back home. The people at the restaurant are super friendly. I missed Thai food so much and I arrived before the opening hours – they didn’t turn me away but welcomed me in and cook the best krapao I’ve had in the US so far. Thank you so much

Tasty meals. If you enjoy eating the aroma of your meal before eating the meal before itself, then this is for you. I am definitely visiting again
Came here with a decent sized group while visiting for otakon. I had the “drunken noodles” and a margarita which were both great, and got fried rice as takeout to eat later. We had a great server & the food came surprisingly fast, and our whole table enjoyed what they ordered. Prices felt very reasonable as well, and the decor was nice. I would certainly go again

Visited DC and was lucky enough to stumble upon this long time tenant in the historic Greyhound Depot Station. The owner was incredibly gracious and we loved hearing his stories of change he’s seen in the last 30 years. We ordered the drunken noodles which were to die for. Fresh made and delivered daily, I will dream about those wide, perfectly chewy noodles. I hope this place survives the pandemic so we can visit one day again
