Egyptian Halal Restaurant San Francisco _ Pharaohs Restaurant
What an experience it was. Nostalgic, mind and taste journey for the soul. Loved the place. The food was amazing, it definitely took me back to the streets of Cairo and the service was top notch as Malik made the experience personal and wefelt like we are part of his family. My wife was blown away over the food and how good it was. Thank you guys for a wonderful meal and all around experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

Had the koshari tonight, apparently it’s Egypt’s national dish so I figured I have to try it! Was pretty tasty, and I was quite surprised by how much food it is! I got the small size, which came out to about $7, and was worried if it would be enough for me- after finishing the whole bowl however, I am almost uncomfortably stuffed! Quick service as well. This is my second time here, the first time I ate the hawawshy (pita bread stuffed with meat) and that was really good!

Amazing food! Everything was amazing, their lamb is soo tender and flavorful, lentils were amazing, and their mint tea is perfect. Also their bread is too good. From out of town and looking for a place close by for early dinner after a Sunday afternoon concert. Glad we sound this place. Fantatic food and service (espcially with only one person taking care of the room which was a bit empty it being early, a Sunday and COVID) Had the lamb shank with prunes and almonds and lamb chops couscous. So much food, so good, EXTREMELY reasonable price. They don’t have outdoor seating so have been struggling during COVID (they ask if you are vacinnated – which we support) so support them if you can. I will go out of my way to eat there again.

I ordered the Doner (shredded lamb and beef) served over rice and fresh veggies and it came with a side of yogurt. It was delicious and light. I will have to ask for more yogurt, it was perfect to top off each bite with a refreshing and rich sauce. For dessert, I enjoyed a kunefe that was perfectly sweet and the cheese was a nice crumble. If this is what to expect from delivery, I can’t wait to experience it in person, fresh from the kitchen.

One of the best Persian restaurants I have ever been to. The place has an old vibe, which was nicely decorated with candle light and roses. But the tables are too close to each other. The server lady was not too sweet, rather was in a hurry. The complementary pita breads with salad and butter was too good. I ordered a Babaganoush ( spelling right?) which was served cold and very aromatic and flavorful. I was actually full after eating all these! Then my main entree arrived. It was a chicken chello kebab. The portion size was too large for me. In fact two people can easily share. The saffron- buttered rice was very aromatic. And the juicy kebabs are unearthly. I never expected such a soft piece of chicken ( it was actually ground chicken I guess). The food was very nice. I had to take the remaining portion as a togo. The lady asked me if I need any dessert or wine. She was not very happy to find that I was not ordering anything like that. It was not too pricy if you compare the portion size and the quality. However I think they need to be little more hospitable ( with a smiling face) from their side.

I really enjoyed my time in the restaurant. Everyone is really welcoming and polite. The girl Hanna serving hookah is a sweetheart she gave the patio and experience a nice vibe. The food tasted and was presented great. I wished they turned on the warmer caz it was a bit chilly but still perfect because I had there tea. Thank you

A wonderful place where you can chill, eat delicious food, and sit to smoke the hookah. This place truly reminds me of my two week long trip I spent in Amman, Jordan. All of the restaurants their had hookahs that they would bring to their customers as well. This place is a true window into another world. Every time I come here I always find myself ordering the lamb and beef plate along with the chicken shwarma. Both entrees are consistently phenomenal! This restaurant will always hold a special place in my heart and I will continue to come back.

.Ziggy Burgers Restaurant
San Francisco Good halal burger place. Burger are all $11 up. Bit expensive for just a burger. Cheese is extra. $1.50. Maybe the price is justified being its San Francisco. They also own the Oasis grill next door. If you are not in mood of burgers, then you can go order from there and bring the food here and eat.
