Hanks Oyster Restaurant Washington DC Great place for a variety of seafood classics, and very friendly wait staff. The shrimp po’boy and lobster roll were excellent. I felt the ceviche was strange and completely lacked traditional “salsa” qualities, and the hot sauce selection was poor (just tabasco), but those are just about my only grievances. It’s a no-frills place that seems to offer all the classics.

Me encantan los ostiones y la clam chowder de este lugar. Vale la pena ir y probar. El lugar está muy bonito, siempre está lleno para que lo contemplen y mejor hagan reservación.

Scott, our bartender made the perfect dirty martinis for me! The food was awesome! Adam, the manager came to check on us twice and made us feel very welcomed! I LOVE OYSTERS and their fresh selection was awesome👌.

Visited both Potomac and Q street DC locations for happy hour. Both locations were great and offered extensive happy hour menu and outdoor seating. But what set DC location apart was Sam’s excellent service. Drinks and food were coming on time and Sam gave good drinks recommendations. His service was exceptional.

This is a great seafood restaurant with Boston sensibilities, e.g. clams with the bellies on. They don’t serve coffee or dessert, so not a place to really linger. But the goldfish serve as a unique palette cleanser. The menu changes often to accommodate what is fresh and in season. This is my favorite seafood place on DC by far
