Hatoba Restaurant Washington DC

Hatoba Restaurant Washington DC Cool looking place, great service, and most importantly–delicious ramen! I’m allergic to shellfish, so I was a bit worried that there wouldn’t be much that I could have in this seafood-forward restuarant, but I was pleasantly suprised to learn that most of the offerings were safe

Hatoba is in a great area, the service here is great, our server Marvin was fantastic. He had some great suggestions as well as a great break down if the menu. All of the food on the menu sounds amazing so I’ll definitely be going back to try some of the other options. The outdoor seating is plentiful, another plus.

Hatoba was such a wonderful change from the more usual ramen flavors. I had the red miso clam ramen with an added egg and spice powder. I absolutely loved the clams. The staff was so nice and accommodating for our entire party. The dessert and Hawaiian dishes were delicious as well.

So we walked up and immediately was greeted by Will the manager which was amazing. Gave us a quick tour of the new restaurant and let us choose where to sit and we decided to go outside. Then we were greeted with water before the server Marvin came to introduce himself and get our drink order. Have to say this place is pretty amazing, modern and up to date. Ended up with the shoyu ramen and it was out less than 10 min after we ordered and it was pretty busy. Got a check back after the food came out as well to make sure everything was great
