Real experience
Busy, lively atmosphere. Authentic spices, seasonings, breads, and oils from all over the world. Great butcher shop for beef, lamb, and goat. The restaurant is also very good. If you like gyros, shawarma, or if you’re in the mood to try something different, this is a great place for the food and the whole feel of going to another country. All in the heart of Minneapolis.
I love this place! Amazing gyro meat and chicken. Salad and appetizers great as well. Falafels some of the best I’ve had. Service is very fast, friendly and portions are very generous. Menu is big, lots of options to choose from. Also has a grocery store attached, large parking lot. Definitely recommended if you enjoy middle eastern food.

Tasty authentic fresh food from the Arab and Persian world in a welcoming and informal venue. Portions are generous – so when you see a plate costing $20, know that it will be plenty to feed two. Free parking in the lot out back. A store selling ethnic specialties attached to the restaurant.
I heard several languages while there today for lunch. But those who speak only English will feel both understood and welcome. Im definitely coming back soon for lunch to try one of their sandwiches. They cost less than $10 and look amazing. I had lunch there again today. I got the Persian beef kebab with hummus. It was amazing!

What an incredible dinner! Amazing food! Large portions, well seasoned, and quick service. The meat platter was incredible with 6 different types of meat. The chicken gyro sandwich was huge with an amazing sauce. My two littles are the cheese burgers and fries. The hummus and starter salad was very good. Well worth the drive!

Had the most beautiful experience last night. My friend John and I pulled in just at sunset, forgetting about Ramadan. Breaking fast (Iftar) with that amazing community was so much fun. We were definitely treated like family. Dates and soup are passed out while we all waited for our food. Had the honor of sitting with Mama Fatima whose recipes and sons are the cornerstone of their business. Truly “service” to everyone was perfect.

Delicious. Wife and I were visiting for work. This is probably one of the best halal options in the Minneapolis area. We ordered the Rotisserie chicken, burger, and hummus. The chicken was amazing very fresh and juicy and had great taste. Burger and hummus were also good.
My kids and I were here from WI and were excited to get some authentic middle eastern food. Holy Land d not disappoint the food was excellent and they service was amazing. There staff kept bring us a plate of desserts to try. Which was delicious!! I wish I wasn’t from out of town as I would have def hit up the grocery store as well!
finally
One of the best Mediterranean food options in the Twin Cities. Excellent, high quality, food that is somehow still very clean/healthy, unlike some other places that drench their shawarma in grease. Staff and owners are also fantastic. Highly recommended.
