Weather you love Indian cuisine or not, this place will sure leave you satisfied. I’ve turned many of my “picky eater” friends onto Indian cuisine from trying this restaurant. Pictured here is the tandori chicken with a side of vegetable samosas. The red sauce tends to be a little more sweet/spicy where the green sauce is more spicy and not so sweet. But if you enjoy spicy food then you can’t go wrong with either definitely would give this place a shoot

I have gotten take out from Clay Pot multiple times and it has been delicious every time but yesterday we dined in and wow! When we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or out we said inside until we saw the patio! It is so cute and private and plenty of fans to keep us cool. Our waiter was also so so so great and accommodating of our table switch. Food wise: I LOVE the onion pakora. Ugh. So good. The only problem is I ate so many! I normally order the typical chicken tikka masala or butter chicken but I decided to try the HERB CHICKEN yesterday and it was amazing. Could not recommend more.

This is the 3rd time I’ve eaten at Indian Clay Pot, I wish I could give them more than five stars. Hands-down one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the city of Chicago. Attentive waitstaff, excellent temperature and flavor of food, all portion sizes are great. Love the lamb biryani, chili gobi dishes. A+ Chicago restaurant. Kudos to the chef, they definitely know what they’re doing here! I’ll be spending many more evenings eating in and or ordering out from them. Thank you again for having us

We loved Indian Clay Pot. They have a cozy back patio behind the restaurant. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. We got the onion pakora, veggie tikka masala, herb rice and garlic naan. The highlight of the meal was the mint cilantro chutney. We will definitely be coming back
