Hopleaf restaurant chicago 2024 amazing place

Discover the Unique Flavors of Hopleaf

Hopleaf restaurant relaxed, & tasty experience. Every. time. Food is amazing,  beer selection is plentiful and interesting, as well as their ciders, wine & cocktails. They also love supporting and showcasing various local & further away small breweries. Service has always been professional, knowledgeable, and prompt. Beautiful patio. The crowd is decidedly adult, but in the best way. No kiddos, no rowdy crowds. Amazing date spot or to catch up with friends. A Chicago gem

Hopleaf restaurant chicago

Creative Belgian-focused eats go with loads of brews at this lively hang that’s 21 & older only.

Great brewery, they had a huge range of beers, even including some Non-Alcoholic options! The food was great. We had the Brussels sprouts, crispy pork belly, and a burger. The fries are wonderful, probably the best I’ve had in Chicago. To top it all off, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Highly recommend.

Was staying in Andersonville for a weekend concert and this was a short walk from our airbnb and just a tremendous time. Place was packed but service was top notch and beer selection was awesome. The mussels cooked Belgian style were some of the best I’ve had. If I’m Ever back in the area I’d love to come back!

Haven’t been in years and so glad a friend suggested we make our way up north to go. We decided to split a bunch of things that included their burrata, sausages, brisket reuben + fries and their asparagus salad. We decided to each explore a few beers as well, they have 50+ on tap by looking at the menu. Everything was delicious, but our favorite was the brisket reuben, when I come back I’ll get ordering that for sure! My advice if it’s your first time is go order a bunch of different things to split and check out a lot of unique beers

As wonderful as it’s ever been, Hopleaf remains a gem for beer lovers. I will say, though, that they’ve pared their menu down since reopening and now there are close to no options for vegetarians. Pro tip: come here for the wine too. One of the owners is a sommelier and all the bottles are priced at a flat rate of <$50. There are truly some delicious, interesting, and rare wines available for a steep bargain.

The cocktails were delicious and the Reuben sandwich was the best I’ve ever had in my life. Hopleaf makes their own brisket and it is phenomenal. No superlatives or superfluous language here. It was honestly that good.

Coolest decor around. The owner gave us a tour. A really neat, multi-story place with ownership the is passionate about their bar. Will be a frequent visit Loved the atmosphere in terms of vibe and decorative antique beer posters. Food was excellent. Highly recommend their mussels. What I didn’t appreciate was the service when it came to being seated.

Host at the dining area wouldn’t seat us until all members of my party arrived (why?). He told us to grab a beer at one of the bars, which had literally no room to stand or sit. When we were ready to be seated, we were promised a specific table and was told that it just needed to be cleared and wiped off. When we returned to be seated, the host had given the table to another party and we had to wait again. System was a little off.
