Kura Revolving Sushi Washington DC This place is so yummy and priced well! Definitely busy when we arrived on a weekday at noon but only had to wait 15 min for our table. Staff did a great job explaining how the sushi bar worked and overall it was a great (and yummy) experience!

I went to this restaurant several times when I was in my country but this is my first time to go in DC. The menu is similar but the deserts selection are more. I love the Taiyaki ice cream dessert which gives me different experience. Half of it is cold but another part is hot which is fantastic to combine two of them together to have new savor.

Prices have gone up and the quality has remained pretty great. The best is likely toro, well marbled and buttery. Wagyu, king salmon, and eel are close seconds. Otoro doesn’t seem quite as good, seemed a bit long and skinny. Skip the octopus if it’s straight from the kitchen, still cold. Also skip the fried softshell crab, the breading is overpowering

This is a great little sushi spot. Listen, it’s not the BEST sushi, but it not bad and the unique environment, experience, and PRICE, makes it well worth a try. I got out of there stuff with 8 plates, some sake, and udon for like $35. Pretty great and fun experience.
Very cool experience. The suchi is decent. Nothing fancy. But it makes sense considering the price per plate. I would definitely consider coming here again.
