The food was just amazing. The baguette just like I remembered from when I was 12 and sent to the local boulangerie to get trois baguette. Good service too, even when the place was bustling.

We went all the way to Washington for this place, my boyfriend is french so he is a bit of cocky when it comes to food. So when in DC, we decided to go to this place which looked very fancy (and also expensive ) but believe it was totally worth it! We started with a simple pâté and bread, and even that was amazingly good! They have an amazing variety of cheeses and wines. I had the ossobucco which was a complete gift to my mouth. The service is just as the food, both amazing! Out waiter was charming! This place is a treasure, I’m pretty sure I’ll go to Washington just for this place!!

Absolutely delicious food and delightful service. Especially the Tuesday special and the pike dumping in lobster sauce, we literally empty the whole plate. 🙂 Love the vibe, very cozy, great place to spend quality time with friend.
Such a completely incredible dining experience it’s honestly hard to capture; our reminder will be to plan a whole evening, take your time starting with a cocktail, order multiple courses with the waiter’s expertly-guided choices (we enjoyed the bronzino & the veal specials – thank you Rene!), pair with a good French wine, and it will be memorable; from start to finish: a truly amazing meal.
