Leña Brava (prices + menu + location)
Leña Brava A fantastic experience with delicious food. We sat at the bar. No reservation so we grabbed a bear in the craft beer bar next door while we waited to be seated. Delicious beer – a blackberry porter crafted for the day of the dead in Mexico

Famous for seafood but stay for the experience. Was pleasantly surprised with how well the beer they brewed went with the fair. I have been the taco side and the main restaurant. Very much enjoied the food.
This was one of the first places i sat down at during the 2020 outside dining experience. Aka winter, but it was lovely and warm. The outdoor fires added to the experience since it is a wood burning food. Try the oyster a must.

Everything was delicious. We had the avocado side to start. It came with a small bowl of crispy grasshoppers you could use to garnish. Crunch crunch! We ordered the short rib, black cod and the tamal with a side of summer squash. It was all good but the cod and tamal were the standouts. I had the Barleybomba barleywine beer from next door – it was superb. My dinner mates were likwise pleased with their cocktails.

We were seated at the bar right near the massive wood burning hearth. It gave off a cozy warmth and set the ambience for our night. At the recommendation of the mixologist and server we started with a habanero grapefruit ceviche that was incredible. It came with delicious thin lime flavored chips. The mixologist shared a complimentary glass of wine for my me and my girlfriend to pair with the app.

The dining room on the second floor has a really great atmosphere. Food is good but portions are very small, like most upscale restaurants. All the beers are from some local brewery or something so most people won’t recognize anything on the beer menu. You’ll just have to go by description and the waitress/waiters suggestions. Overall, glad I gave it a chance. Nice place to spend a evening

Love the open kitchen. Great food, cocktails, and coffee. The sister location Cruz Blanca next door is also brewing some great beer.
