Bisi Restaurant: A Taste of Nigeria

Bisi Restaurant Best Nigerian restaurant dare I say in IL. This is not your typical nigerian restaurant where you don’t feel like dining-in or bringing your friends because the atmosphere isn’t inviting or it just straight up feels like a buka

This place is soooo delicious! I was hesitant at first because I’ve never had Nigerian food, but I’m so glad I tried it. The egusi spinach soup with goat meat is to die for. The flavors are so rich and have the perfect amount of heat. I’ve never had anything like this, and now I crave Nigerian food every week. My boyfriend really enjoys the vegetarian jollof rice. We are obsessed with this restaurant. The employees are also super friendly

I love this place!!! I drive from the north side of Chicago to get these amazing African dishes. The workers are very pleasant and patient. The food is always fresh and delicious. Excited to go back for more This place is amazing. Their food is always prepared fresh. The dishes are authentic and very delicious. I’ve been coming here for almost 4 yrs now and they have never disappointed.

The gentleman there is always professional and friendly. This place is a hidden gem in the NW suburbs, away from the crowded roads of Chicago. The picture below is Pounded Yam with Ewedu. This is just one of many fantastic dishes they offer. I’ve also had their Pounded Yam with Efo riro, Ogbono Soup, Egusi Soup, Chopped Okra Soup, and Jollof Rice which were all amazing. Don’t take my word for it, try them out for yourself, they’re only 15 minutes from Woodfield Mall. You will not be disappointed!

I’ve been craving Jollof rice for a week straight but hate having to go into the city for anything. I just randomly google searched to see if there were any authentic African Restaurants near me and this place popped up right down the street. I decided to give a few things a try on the menu. The Jollof was perfect and the honey beans tasted good as well. It’s hard to find certain things in the suburbs but Bisi did not disappoint. Will be back soon for sure.

My visit to Restaurant was an exceptional culinary journey. Upon entering, I was welcomed with genuine hospitality and an electrifying atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The cuisine was nothing short of remarkable – each dish offered an explosion of authentic flavors that transported my palate to a different world. I was particularly impressed with the jollof rice and the perfectly seasoned suya.

The staff at Restaurant were highly knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations, elevating the overall dining experience. The live music and cultural decor further enriched the ambiance, making it a truly immersive experience. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to explore more of their delightful menu. If you’re a food enthusiast or seeking a unique culinary adventure, Bisi Restaurant comes highly recommended.

My first time trying Nigerian cuisine and it’s as good as I anticipated! The moi moi was absolutely delicious and my favorite. I also got the vegetarian efo riro with a side of plantains — also very good!!! You gotta check this place out, I will definitely come back and try more of the dishes

finally

This is a family owned restaurant. The food is Delicious, the place is very clean, and the owner, Tony, is very kind. Oh, and the portions are very generous. This is a great place.
