Loved this place! The food is great but the customer service is what I’d keep coming back for. Very friendly and attentive. Romantic ambiance. The apple cake dessert was my favorite. Otherwise, the food here is simple but delicious.

Superb dinner at Lula Cafe. Called morning of and got a last minute 5pm reservation on the patio. Once we arrived, the restaurant quickly filled – a testament to their popularity. The menu had both classics and seasonal items listed along with extensive cocktails and wines to choose from.

The space is super warm & welcoming, food is delicious, and the service was above and beyond. Our server overheard it was my mom’s birthday and brought over a dessert with a candle, making sure it was vegan because they knew I was vegan and wanted us to all enjoy. Just very thoughtful service.

There were only ~2 brunch mains that were gluten free but they have a smaller menu in general, so wasn’t bothered by it. Got the special Carolina gold rice with a fried egg, which was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Server was knowledgeable about menu/allergies.
