Masala Story Restaurant Washington DC This is the best Indian restaurant in my life! I got fish curry and chicken tikka masala. These dishes come with rice and chickpea. They are so flavorful and intense sauce. The owner and staffs are really friendly. In my opinion, this place should be popular but I don’t want too because I have to wait more longer to get food. JK! So I’m always happy to have food here.

Best Indian food I ever had! If in doubt what to order, ask for the Thali which comes with 4 or 5 items. They had a pakora curry item which was phenomenal. The lamb and chicken were amazing as well. Yeah, I had to fly 8000 miles from India to eat good Indian food.

Maybe the best Indian I’ve had…ever??? I’m no expert or connoisseur, but I am a devout foodie, and when food feeds the soul, that’s a good sign. I highly recommend the black lentils, oh my god. The service here is so speedy and friendly. I admit, the wine and beer were pricey and I will stick to tap water next time I come, but the food is well worth the price.

For us COVID-conscious, outdoor seating is essential right now, and this spot had a nice open area with adequate space. Even on a weeknight this place wasn’t packed. Perfect for us!
The veggie samosas were so crispy and delicate. The naan itself was buttery, warm and perfect for soaking the lentils, rice and curry.
