McCormick & Schmicks Restaurant Washington DC A great place to enjoy good food and service and forget about the turmoil in the streets outside for a little while. The crispy cod sandwich lived up to it’s name and the bun even tasted special. Service provided by Calvin couldn’t have been better.

Lobster…so good. Just can’t go wrong with this. And so many dishes to choose from including steak. Check it out! Go early…didn’t have to wait at 530. Suggest reservation if you go later.

Very good food. Cosmo drink was one of the best I’ve ever had. Service was attentive but slow (the norm post-COVID in my experience) so be prepared for a leisurely meal. I’ll be back!

during happy hour & I first just want to thank our host James. He made awesome drinks, had a pleasant demeanor and even gave me a cheesecake for my birthday. My friend ordered the stuffed salmon and I ordered the rockfish and mussels. The mussels and salmon were delicious however the rockfish could have been seasoned a bit more and it wasn’t as meaty as normal rockfish.

Maybe I should have just ordered something else. The rock fish should not have been fileted. The mashed potatoes tasted like boxed potatoes. The veggies had no crunch. Food was bland. I’m so upset I chose this restaurant for our first date. It let us down terribly. I at least gave it 2 stars for ambience and quick seating. But for the price and name we sure did get tricked
