Moon Palace Restaurant This is a really nice place to dine in. The staff might seem rude at first, but they are actually very nice and will answer any question you ask about the menu. It’s a small location and the aesthetics of the restaurant are very pleasing

Just had the Beef Kong Pow. It was delicious. Red & Green peppers with peanuts and hot peppers—I don’t eat those but they add a good flavor. It is in a very good sauce and serviced with rice. I’ve eaten there over a 30 year period—the Hot & Sour soup is a favorite to start a meal

Great food & wonderful service. Conveniently located in the main area of Chinatown. Many lunch specials include soup for $8-$9. Quite a good value. Street parking (metered) available for a couple hours or lots nearby as well.

Went here w my boyfriend Memorial Day weekend. We had Xiao Long Bao, the pan fried buns, and the special Shanghai Braised Pork Belly (pictured). The wait staff were friendly and attentive, the place was clean and not so crowded while other places had a long wait. We were not so familiar with Shanghainese food and really liked it. The Xiao Long bao was delicious, we really enjoyed the sauces that came with it, the pan fried buns had a nice crunchy bottom. The Shanghai Pork Belly was delicious! A generous portion, great sauce, bok choy and a generous side of rice. I forgot my credit card there and they were super nice and kept it safe for me. I would highly recommend this place
