Real experience

Made it a point to stop in here after I heard some great reviews by word of mouth. I wasn’t disappointed. The staff treated us like friends and made sure we had everything we needed for our take out order. The gyro was a large and flavorful portion, and I even got to try some falafel and baklava while I was there. Delicious! The welcoming environment was reason enough to come back, and the food sealed the deal. Will definitely be coming back.

This is one of the best Turkish restaurants I have ever been to and I’m sad it is not near my home in Missouri! Everything, EVERYTHING was fresh and cooked perfectly.

They brought us hot tea to begin, before we had ordered using a beautiful tea set. The owner then sprinkled each glass of tea with rose water. I had a Chicken Kabob and rice and other dishes at the table were: Gyros, Spanakopita, Hummus, Vegetarian Platter and Salad. My friend said the Gyro and tzatziki was the best he’s ever had. I ordered another serving of Hummus for the long trip home in the car.

The service was great, the family who owns the restaurant was very attentive and kind. To finish, we had Baklava and on par with everything else, it was fabulous.

I had the Gyros Plate which included hot pita bread, Hummus, Gyros meat, tzatziki sauce, rice, and salad. A very complete meal, and everything was fixed perfectly. No ice, brewed tea, or fountain drinks, but they do have a variety of bottled drinks and hot tea. The hot tea came with rose water and sugar that you can add if you wish. It was excellent with rose water. Presentation was a real Middle Eastern experience! Bottom line: delicious food and a nice ambiance. Highly recommended.

Looking for a place like home, with exceptional service, well-flavoured authentic food, and the friendliest staff? This place is worth visiting! We were treated by Zain, who politely poured our tea for us as it was too hot. Tip: Their sauces and rose tea compliment the rice platter well.

I came here with my family and I have nothing but good things to say about Sahara. Abu Hamza and his staff made the experience amazing. From the fresh tea at the start to the tabouli and falafel, everything we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fresh, authentic Mediterranean food!

I’ve had shawarma in several major cities, and I make it myself. This is some of the best I’ve ever had. Came in for a quick, healthy meal by myself after work and was blown away. The owner was kind and accommodating. I brought my friend with me the following night, and she had the same experience. I had the kofta kabob the second night, and it was also delicious. Service was top notch again.

Great food, great people. Mohammed and Zain do a fantastic job with the hospitality every time my Wife and I bring our Indy family here. We visit from Florida every year and make this an annual visit
