Our experience was fantastic in every way. Great food (generous portions) yummy flavors. Adam was such nice fellow. Ambiance and service were outstanding. A 💯 points to their mustard!!
Wow! Why haven’t I been going here every week? Great food, elevated flavors, friendly service, nice German beer list, bus boy that plays showtimes on the piano…c’mon you can’t find this anywhere else in DC! Treated me like a king for Father’s day. Wish they had a patio… but that is minor. What a hidden secret.

Excellent atmosphere, great authentic food, I loved my schnitzel! And the portion sizes were pretty good. Live piano player made for a real nice environment. Will come back!
I absolutely adored learning about the history behind this restaurant before tasting their food. 100% worth checking out… I recommend the pickled herring in sour cream, paté and schnitzel

Sorry, haven’t been to this location, but dined at a D.C. restaurant by the same name in the mid-1960s…any relation to that establishment? Old-timer reminiscing about finer days, but planning a trip to D.C. with grandson to visit graves in Arlington Cemetery of great-grandparents he never met…will stop by and dine at your Old Europe. Giving you 5 stars ahead of time.
FANTASTIC DESSERTS! It has a nice German menu and it encourages me to learn more about Germany!
