Tango Sur

Delightful, cozy, and easily romantic restaurant near the music box and mercury theaters. This restaurant has a fantastic ambiance and separated into three sections. The front entrance section is a small cafe like experience, next will go into what looks like a much larger main dining room with an entirely different ambiance, and finally a smaller private room in the back. A fantastic night.

From the atmosphere to the waitstaff to the food, everything was perfect. Dark interior lit by candlelight provides sultry atmosphere. The waitstaff was super attentive and friendly We love tango sur. From their salad to their dessert, everything is airways fresh and delicious. The salmon with the orange sauce is very good. Also the parilla is recommended with a variety of meat cuts. Empanadas for an appetizers are a must. We will keep on coming back

Tango Sur just made its way to my TOP 5 favorite steaks in Chicago list! What an absolutely incredible meal. The empanadas were so tasty. We got the beef. Crumbly buttery crust. Savory minced beef with spices. The shrimp dish was a little underwhelming and definitely felt overpriced, but it was flavorful as well

You haven’t eaten steak like this anywhere! Large portions,  delicious, great service yummy everything! I can’t explain it in words, you must visit, please make a reservation. You can also byob. This has to be my best favorite steak house of all times

Delicious dinner. Six of us, almost everyone had steak, I went for shrimp. Everything was beyond delicious. If you are looking for a fabulous steak, this is the place to go. The mashed potatoes are to die for

This place is the closest thing to Argentina. Today was my first time eating at Tango Sur and I can assure you that it will not be my last. My son Carlo told me it was an amazing place, and he has excellent taste and appreciates a place with excellent food and customer service. The staff is extremely friendly, and attentive to your every need. The flavors will satisfy every taste bud that need attention. My Churrasco was cooked to perfection and even two hours later I am still savoring the wonderful leftovers.

Amazing steak! BYOB Only!!! Not a bad thing, no corkage and you can drink what you enjoy without the markup. Really good meat and appetizers. Empanadas were yum! Good for large parties. What an experience, like I was back in Argentina. Argentine, grass fed, beef onnthe menu. Incredible selection of items. BYOB or order from next door and have delivered to your table. Tender, delicious, flavorful, intentional cooking with delivery of goodness. I live an hour away, but this just became a good reason to come to Irving Park/Chicago. Riquisimo, buen aprovecho
