I purchased the chicken sandwich that included coleslaw. When my order arrived, it was without the slaw and the plate was filled with grease. I talked to the waitress about coleslaw not being on the sandwich and she told me they no longer serve it that way. I would’ve appreciated knowing this at the time of my order. She did apologize for the excessive grease. I will not return

Shameless foodie pic, I know…. but it was sooo good! Blackened catfish seasoned to perfection, mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery. The whipped honey butter just melted right into the cornbread. Server Rigo took great care of me and my husband. Impressed at the sanitation practices during these crazy times. We got our hands sprayed with sanitizer as we walked in, and staff close by ready to disinfect after your meal. Good job Porkchop, we will be back

I love Pork Chop, really enjoyed the Glenwood, IL location but they moved/closed some the staff were not meat eaters so they were not concerned about the quality they were issuing. Not fair to the staff that did care, but Hyde Park has an ambiance of it’s own. Dark, cozy, and if you are with your Boo “perfect” for a romantic candle lit Evening. Pork Chop has always had a stage for entertainment so that is a HUGE PLUS, this location has a WELL STOCKED BAR!!!!
My Son wanted to take me out for Valentine’s and given cheaper options he still chose Pork Chop, we normally hit them once or twice a year– so ok. Had never known them to up charge for “premium sides” but I enjoyed my BBQ 2 COMBO and He loves their Cajun Fettuccine, so all was fine Bread Pudding was dessert(he was not a fan of the Red Beans). He didn’t like the bill total, so Mom helped and we were on our way…. Thanks
