We’ve heard nothing, but good things about this place and finally made the time to drive out to it from Maryland. It was so worth the trip. The food was amazing! Authentic Egyptian cuisine (validated by the Egyptian who tried everything on the menu  Make sure to try okra with lamb tagine.

If you want to try authentic Egyptian food, similar to what’s made at Egyptian homes then this place is definitely for you ! The store decor is a bit under average but the food is more than amazing !! I tried so many items off the menu and took some to go.

Marwan helped us choose he was of great help and really friendly ! I really recommend this place and will drive from NY to VA just to have this great food experience again !

King of Koshary never fails. The food is authentic and made with soul. Today I had the cenjari branzino and it was incredible. The fish was so delicate and mild, and the spices were elegant, exotic, and perfectly balanced. I like the food here so much that I ordered a bunch of items just to take home—molokhia, ful (fava beans, which autocorrect wants to call “fave beans”, not inappropriately), and rice with vermicelli.

The server made the mint lemonade by hand, and it had the perfect amount of sweetness. I also highly, highly recommend the Turkish coffee. Also you can’t beat the Egyptian classical music in the background. It makes for such an engaging atmosphere.

All in all, King of Koshary is one of my favorite restaurants in northern Virginia. You have to come check it out

We had an amazing experience! Everything was delicious, but the Okra Lamb Tajin was my favorite. Cannot recommend this place enough! I’m excited to go back and try the fish. Hidden gem! Fantastic food at an excellent price. Our waiter was great and gave us good suggestions for menu items. Highly recommend getting a few appetizers, mains, and desserts to share. The baba ghanoush was some of the best I’ve ever had and is a must-order. Great value, will definitely be coming back.

The food was tasty and it felt I was back home. I tried koshary and lentil soup. Won’t be my last visit to this amazing place. The owners were really nice and welcoming. The background music/songs were a great addition.

My family and I had an amazing experience at King of Koshary in Arlington! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and our server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all our questions with a smile. Can’t wait to come back for more flavorful delights!

Everything was delicious, we came here accidentally ,but I loved it, I ordered fish was fantastic and so good, I really recommend it for anyone who wants to enjoy his food. And the waiter Marwan really nice and understood what we wanted.
