This is a hidden gem. They have some of the best German food in Chicago and an amazing German draught beer selection. I like it even more because you get this all in the unlikely setting of an old school bar. They also have a lovely beer garden in the Summer

Nice restaurant with a great patio. Good to bring kids over (even if they don’t have a proper kids menu, it’s easy to find something they like). The beers choice is great, very diverse and the staff is nice. The food is classic German food, not over the top but nice. They forgot part of our sides that was supposed to come with our dish but brought it in a box to bring back home

Stumbled upon this place on the way to dinner elsewhere and decided to call an audible to try Resi’s and I’m glad we did! Great list of draft and bottled German beers, wonderful food and a cute little beer garden. No one else here on a Wednesday and I don’t know why. If I lived up here I would be over here having a beer every other day. The bartender would be in my Covid circle. Can’t wait to come back to try the Russian eggs

Wow, seriously the best German meal I have had since I was in Frankfort Germany. I had some sausage and was awesome! The potatoes and sauerkraut were phenomenal
