Great fast casual spot w bowls, wraps, and crepes. Food is consistently delicious and very reasonably priced

These guys used to own the Middle East comfort food game, but they’ve become complacent. Shwarma is terrible, though Falafel is good and so is Nana’s Original Mankooshi (Zaatar & Labni). There’s no love in the food. Bring the old Muncheez back!

Comment 2:

One of the best late night eats in DC. Stopped by recently with friends and we had hummus, chicken shawarma, and fries. This place has always been consistent with their food, service and price. I always get the beef platters, wraps or bowls. With current Covid conditions, everyone is wearing masks and gloves. Food is carefully packaged and sealed when you come in for pick up. Don’t be turned off by the long lines. Wait times here are minimal. If you want quick Mediterranean food without breaking the bank this is your spot

Comment 3:

Great place to get lunch/light dinner. The food and drinks are so flavorful and everyone working there has always been very nice. The manakeesh is their standout item in my opinion! The Nana’s Original is a must-have, it’s unlike anything I’ve ever eaten–an herby, olive-y, yogurt-y flavor explosion! Pictures dont do it justice. It’s not too heavy, so I’m usually able to finish one by myself (and I usually can’t finish an entire entree). The store is a bit cramped, so that’s something to keep in mind but you can place your order and then wait outside.

Comment4:

Love their delicious chicken shawarma (sandwich) with garlic sauce and fries. Their chicken platters are the more famous menu option with enough portions for 2 meals at a very reasonable price.
