Fue una muy grata sorpresa visitar este restaurante. Es un lugar acogedor, sencillo, sin pretensiones, por lo que es ideal para ir a pasar el rato con amigos. La comida rica, cuidada y bien presentada. El servicio atento y eficiente. El aire acondicionado estaba muy frío y lo bajaron para que no nos molestara. Los precios son razonables. Volveré.

Great food and great portions. I loved the casual ambiance and the kindness of the people working there. For a Michelin star restaurant the portions are perfect. I’ll definitely come back to try more of their food.

One of the habits I have developed over years of writing reviews is to at least pick a book based on its cover. Riding by The Royal one evening in an Uber, the place looked compelling and I am happy to say the plot within did not disappoint! Be prepared to enter a venue with a simple selection but broad ability to satisfy. Between the carefully cultivated menu, well managed kitchen,

This was my first time at The Royal. It was a nice experience. The staff was really nice, the food was delicious, and it looks like they are working hard to keep everyone safe during these covid times. The only challenge we experienced was when they tried to make it easy for people to split the bill electronically. We couldn’t really figure it out, but it all worked out. We all just paid for our own meals on our own phones. I had the Lox Tartine and we shared the Guava Pastry. Both were really good!
