Been to The Russia House twice, had the Beef Stroganov both times and loved it both times. Impressive array of vodkas and quality levels, including some from places I didn’t even know made vodka. Very upscale interior for either dining or sipping high quality vodka with friends while listening to Russian music
A very worthy find. We walked the neighborhood trying to get into a restaurant. Every place was packed, but Russia House found us a table and squeezed us in. Our wait staff was very pleasant and promptly served us an excellent cocktail and a great Russian beer. Both of our meals were

Great hospitality, fantastic service and well made cocktails. The Black Fig infused vodka was spectacular. The Figenza was wonderful. My boyfriend liked the Moscow mules!
Fantastic service and atmosphere at Russia House. The quality of food was excellent. The Chicken Kiev and Duck both had unique and inspired flavors. The infused Vodka (infused in house) was wonderfully smooth and delicious. Looking forward to the next visit here!

Great experience at this restaurant. I have lived in DC my whole life and this was my first time. My coworkers and I went here for dinner and we all loved everything that we ordered. The music playing was a mix of russian-like club/lounge music so it gets you feeling energized and makes it a fun vibe in there. Its not overwhelming so you can still talk and hear each others conversation. The waiter and waitress seemed pretty reliable and made sure we had everything we ordered. The establishment itself was nice and clean. I would definitely come back here again. Thank you Russia House!
