Gather restaurant chicago

Chic spot with an open kitchen serving New American fare plus wine, microbrews & craft cocktails. Amazing food inside a cozy and relaxed concept. The cocktail menu is innovative and fun, and the wine list is surprisingly deep. What really what are the share plates: the steak tartar and cured salmon are so delicious and easily shared among 3 or 4 people

 Reviews

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Chicago. Their Sunday family style dinner is the way to go. It’s around $28 per person and you get to build your own dinner with so many options to choose from. The chef is so creative, and they change up their menu frequently. I’ve never had anything bad at this place. What appears on the menu and then what shows up on the table will simply blow your mind away. I highly recommend this place for unique boutique urban dining

Dining at Gather was a fantastic experience and felt right at home. From expertly designed and crafted cocktails to family style dining, Gather should be the next spot to check out. If you are celebrating a special occasion or just seeking locally sourced ingredients you should make a reservation here. Although counter service is offered on a first come first serve basis, I’d highly recommend making a reservation. Everything is prepared in the open kitchen. The staff both friendly and knowledgeable can cater to any dietary restrictions.

Looking for a well prepared meal that doesn’t break the bank? This place should be your next stop! My wife and I went to Gather on our first date, having heard that they had amazing Brussels sprouts. We’ve returned on the anniversary of that day every year since, even if only to grab takeout when restaurant dining wasn’t an option during the pandemic. They have gone out of their way to make each visit very special for us, providing stellar service to complement the extraordinary menu. Gather is an important part of our story, and we couldn’t be more grateful

I ate here for my birthday and it was one of the best meals in Chicago I’ve had all year. We had the brussel sprouts, steak tartare (both pictured below), and uovo en raviolo, and it’d be hard for me not to order them all again when I go back. The entire staff was really welcoming and our waitress was so kind and knowledgable. I appreciated that she gave us a realistic estimate of how much food we’d need and didn’t try to oversell. Also great modern ambiance.

Food tastes okay, but nothing special. However, service was exceptional and servers are really nice. The brussels sprouts was good. We also ordered Salmon and Half Chicken but it wasn’t that special. The design of the food is really good though. I would give 3.5 out of 5 to the entrees and 4 to their brussel sprouts. Atmosphere was nice ans clean and they try to follow guidelines to sanitize every thing

Delicious meal! Made a reservation here and we’re seated on time in the back area. Had the butternut squash soup, brussel sprouts, burrata, and half chicken. The server was helpful and responsive. He made a great recommendation for a Pinot noir to go with our choices. Honestly a tasty spot that makes fresh, quality food. Will go back for sure!!! Phenomenal food, you cannot go wrong with a single dish. Everything on the menu is a 10/10. The chef, his team and the whole wait staff is so nice as well. If you haven’t been, you are missing out
