SUNNYGUN restaurant

Real experience

Creative ideas on the food menu. The patio area is really cool and fun for summer time brunch. Good selection of drinks, mid to high price. Only reason for 4 stars is because, although the food was creative, the creative combination of things didn’t taste overall amazing.

Mooby’s Pop-Up Restaurant. The Cow-Tipper was good. The onion rings, not too good. Very similar to the burger King rings. The chocolate pretzels were ok but seemed a bit stale

This Lou fella has a pretty sweet set up. Pretty good drinks, good service, he doesn’t mind if you bring your dog though if it’s my friends crazy high stress beagle mix he might change that policy. Bocci ball for hipsters who want to larp as old Italian men. The food is also good though it’s a limited menu

This is a fairly new, modern feeling bar. Great outdoor seating and good beer selection. This place is dog friendly (outside only). They have a bocce ball court that you can play on while you dine/drink. Food is on the higher end of bar quality. I always have a good time here.

The service here was great and so was the atmosphere. The cocktails are delicious. I’m not normally a fan of fried pickle spears, but they did it right. SO amazing

The food was fantastic. The ambience is great. They have a huge area in the patio and the restaurant and the back area in between. Great for groups and for drop in style get togethers. The only problem was the music and ambient noise …

Don’t let the empty dining room fool you, the bar side is bustling. Lou’s had good drinks. Mood was very lively (aka loud). This clearly is a trendy spot to grab a drink, particularly with those who are under 40 years old. Lighting was dim. Seating options could be improved. Be prepared to stand unless you get there early to snag a table or bar spot This Lou fella has a pretty sweet set up.

Lou’s is good for what it is but it isn’t all that. Love the concept, but I think all of the recipes (especially the elotes and foie gras mousse) need fine tuning. One thing I will say is that they have outstanding beverages, floats, and desserts! Like, one of their adult floats will have your equilibrium playing tricks on you.

finally

A casual restaurant with suprisingly good food and a casual atmosphere. It has a sepate garden room which i suspect can be made privatr. Attached is the Moneygun Saloon which isn int eresting pub bar. There are plenty of special drink nites and events.
