There was a lot of sitting – the place has two floors. Their menu is kind of fun – an Asian fusion. The taste was just ok though. Not bad, but not smth to come back for. We had noodles with veggies and chicken okonomiyaki. Chocolate salted oatmeal cookie for dessert – that one was good. The place has a great selection of tees. A bit on a dirtier side when it gets busy. You order upstairs and have to wait for them to call your order.

Came in for a late lunch on a Sunday. Despite the business, the kitchen staff were working very hard and were still able to get food orders out relatively quickly. The Thai chicken curry was fantastic, and the Assam tea went really well with the dish. Would definitely visit here again.
Teaism is my favorite cheap eat in DC. The teas are tasty, but the diverse flavors on the food menu really shine here. Teaism even has a few side dishes that Upcycle otherwise wasted food, and they are just as delicious as anything else. I recommend getting a curry or bento box, and trying a cookie (or six) 🙂

Come by for feel good food & beverages. The food isn’t mind blowing but it’s tasty and gets the job done. The teas are wonderful. There is a LOT of seating downstairs for big groups, which makes it a hidden gem before a big game or event at Capital One Arena
