The Athena Pallas Washington DC
The Athena Pallas Washington DC This place is fantastic for Mediterranean Greek food! I loved every piece of it. The food was flavorful with great portions and the service staff was superb and friendly. The place is clean and with great ambiance. Plenty parking and great location within walking distance to many hotels in area. Give it a try, absolutely fantastic. Don’t be fooled as you walk in, it might be packed with people inside. 👍❤

Super authentic family run Greek restaurant. I as the bronzing whole and it was crispy outside tender inside. The hummus did not taste homemade but the pita was a standout. The service was friendly. Another plus is they have their own parking lot in the rear. If you are in the mood for Greek or just want to try something different you should be on your way to Athena.

I had a great time eating here. The place is kind of tucked away behind most of the 23rd street restaurants so I may have missed it had I not been recommended by a friend. The atmosphere is very homey and feel-good and the food was amazing. We ordered the moussaka and the spinach pastry and were very impressed with both. Will definitely come back to try the fried cheese, octopus and assorted desserts. The staff and other customers were very friendly and it was an overall great eating experience.

Superb. We were starving after a flight and ate like kings and queens here. They brought our kids extras on bread because it was all eaten in a flash. The beef for the kabobs was super tender and the filo dough on the spinach pie was oh so good. Wish we lived closer to get this routinely!
