The Halal Guys Restaurant Best halal cart in New York City! The food is delicious and they guys are very friendly. Sometimes there is a huge line but even then the wait time is not too long because they are hard working guys and serve the food very quick. I love the white sauce. Be cautious with the red sauce, it is very spicy! For the price you get very generous portions. Highly recommend! Parking in this area can be tricky, but parking in the city is always difficult doesn’t matter where you are.

You may find yourself walking here through the empty streets of midtown at 2am and being shocked that 50 people are in line for food. Everyone will tell you that it’s worth the wait. It is.

So awesome! The we’re few blocks from our hotel, extra white sauce please it was so Good all the way to the meat. I got couple orders on the way home. Long line but its fast,5-6 halal guys working so quickly 👍🏽

Each time I come here, I’m reminded of my first true experience with this style of food. Sure some may argue there are better places, but nothing beats coming here in the dead of winter, waiting in a long line, smelling the food from the cart waft through the whole line, not only with great smells but warmth from the bitter cold.

Absolutely loved the kebab here! We tried the falafel as well. The sauces on top also taste great! There was a huge queue (I am not surprised at all). The food is so tasty. One of the best in terms of food carts in NYC. Definitely try it out if you are visiting the area. PS. Make sure to get as much sauce packets from them as you can they enhance the taste of the food.

Been hearing about this place a lot, so I decided to go to the original place (even if there’s one in Jakarta). HUGE PORTION! I ordered a small mixed (chicken and beef) rice $7, and I couldn’t finish it. The first few bites were great, but after that I felt something last lacking. The chicken tasted a bit bland, but was boosted a lot by the white sauce (make sure to ask for some extra). I then enjoyed my early dinner at Central Park. Glad I visited. Thank you.
