Tiki On 18th Restaurant Washington DC

Tiki On 18th Restaurant Washington DC Lovely place. Two levels. Outdoor seating with a vibe. Drinks were on point and cute. I wanted to order almost everything from the menu. It was my first time there but I’ll be back to try some of my favorites Filipino dishes. 😋

Had the Binagoongan Fried Rice and fried tofu appetizer. Both were tasty! Next time will get a cocktail too. Thanks chef for the sweet note and push to use the atchara- it was delicious!

So I came to DC and they had a mask mandate. My friend and I were sitting outside and he needed to use the restroom and as he was getting ready to enter he forgot to put on his mask. The server was polite and he he put it on. Way to go to the staff. People may not agree with the mandate but if you come here you will get great service and the rules are followed so you know the food is excellent

A fabulous place! I did not have anything to eat. However, the music and drinks were amazing. Seating is available outside as well as inside.
Great tiki drinks. Food smelled amazing but didn’t get to try anything. Sat in the sister bar to be seated more quickly. Automatic 20% gratuity added to a bill for 2 drinks.
A few weeks ago, I stopped by on my first night out in forever. My server, a kind medium height, black haired male (sorry that I forgot your name :(( ) made my experience really pleasant. He was very polite and kind, and stopped by to check on me enough to make sure I was taken care of. I don’t think he realized it, but he told me something pretty encouraging and self-motivating that one night, so I just want to say, Thank you! The bar itself was nice enough, but nothing beat the service 🙂

Busy night life when I went. Slightly on the pricier side however that I can understand comes from the area which they are in. I had a Mai Tai and their Java bowl (Pork) both were very good. Not necessarily a MUST VISIT however it is definitely one of my favorite Filipino restaurants in the DC area. I expect myself to eat here again in the future
