What a special restaurant, TOTALLY worth the reservation one month ahead , The ambiance is just magical with all the hustle and bustle inside. Escargot was out of this world , first time ever trying them and they taste great , the ravioli with Parmesan was good. Steak Frites very impressive , you can never go wrong with that. Burger was done on a high level as well ! The desserts were good , I wouldn’t say it’s better than bakeries but they are a great way to end the meal.Overall super highly recommended

This was fine dining as advertised. Service was impeccable and very friendly. Water glass never half empty, which is my litmus test for attentive waitstaff. The food was extremely well-prepared with skill, arrived very hot. The best French onion soup I’ve ever had. In particular, the cheese did not glop up in the throat like some, and you know what I mean. Very tasty. The setting was refined and romantic. This was our 17th anniversary and we were very pleased. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. everytime I I need a proper supper, this place comes right away to my head. extremely good and many types of food and a large list of dishes.great staff, and pleasant ambience. Primrose Restaurant in Washington DC This is a really beautiful venue in a quiet neighborhood. The decor and layout are welcoming and comfortable. I had the branzino which was delicious and came beautifully plated with baby heirloom carrots. I don’t think you’ll find tastier fries anywhere. They were crispy and creamy at the same time and seasoned just right so that you don’t even need a sauce.

I went with my brother and we had an amazing time. Our table was late but the guy who came out explained what was happening, offered options inside and generally was super pleasant. We waited and both had fantastic meal!! The scallops were so delightfully tender!!! A definite must order. The bread and mussels were also superb. I live down the street and will definitely be going again.

We had such a lovely evening at Billy Chez tonight. Besides our wonderful server, Ronaldo, who was impeccable and spot on with his recommendations, the food was absolutely amazing, and not in an overly formal or fussy way. Even more, I have a food allergy that is quite limiting and typically renders a kitchen stumped serving bland food, even at the finest of restaurants. But not at Billy Chez. Instead they handled it with grace, each course incredibly delicious. Thank you, and we’ll return more often

My wife had the bijoux de boeuf and I had le saumon danseur! Food barely took 7 minutes to come. Let me tell you that i never ate anything so good in a long time. This was truly french gastronomy! If you read this, Thank you guys for your authenticity! Before our food actually came we were given the best pieces of french bread with butter we had in a while. And before we left we had the best crème brûlée! I wish i could time travel and eat everything again.

The outside of the building is under repair. But you can still get a fancy experience about the food. I especially recommended the crispy chicken and France union soup. The price is not that high. Suitable for a workday brunch
