Prost Restaurant in Washington DC  Outstanding food and drink at a reasonable price. In these difficult times, Prost offers a robust outdoor seating arrangement. The servings were exceedingly generous, especially for the price. Wonderful schnitzel and their wurst is far from the worst 🙂 Good beer variety, and pretty reasonable pricing as well. Lastly, service was pleasantly quick. So glad I ventured to Prost. You should, too!

Great drinks and service! Plenty of outside seating. While it was a little cold the heaters kept us warm. Their seasonal drinks are very tasty! The Mexican hot chocolate was a table favorite. We also had the soft pretzel which was warm and came out quickly. Looking forward to coming back soon

Wow! Why haven’t I been going here every week? Great food, elevated flavors, friendly service, nice German beer list, bus boy that plays showtimes on the piano…c’mon you can’t find this anywhere else in DC! Treated me like a king for Father’s day. Wish they had a patio… but that is minor. What a hidden secret.

These guys run a tight ship. The manager does an excellent job managing the waitlist during rush times, we got our table right as expected, and appreciated being able to plan accordingly. Worth the wait. This place is great. Great draft beers and next level barbecue and wings. If Austin, NYC, and DC ever had a baby it would be this.

That is not a German thing!) was pretty good. It did not taste like the German version, but it was still tasty. The Kaesespaetzle were really good and pretty close to true Spaetzle! My sister-in-law had Melonensalat and to be honest I had no idea that was even a German thing, but she liked it. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and drink, and would recommend this to anyone who would like to try some good German cuisine.
