Booked a reservation last minute and am astounded by my experience. Unbelievably good. The sampler platter was great but in comparison to some other reviewers, I think you can pass on the shrimp dumplings in favor of other items on the menu. Best lamb chops of my life, like melt in your mouth and go to heaven delicious. Highly, highly recommend

Came here with a group of 4 and we all loved our food! I ordered the combo for 1, which included lamb and chicken and one side. I chose eggplant. The chicken was phenomenal!! I am not usually one to rave about chicken at restaurants but this one was exceptional!! The lamb was also very delicious. I thought the white and dark green sauce paired very well. The rice and naan were also very delicious!! I have no complaints at all. The owner was very helpful when ordering and I couldn’t choose a side. Friendly staff and casual atmosphere. Will definitely be making this place a regular of mine! They also have complementary hot tea

Panjshir Restaurant in Washington DC Excellent place! I think most places do a good job. A few lack what it takes. Some are above and beyond. Panjshir is above and beyond. Service is fast and friendly without being pushy. Food is wonderful. We haven’t had a bad dish yet. I fully recommend this place, even if you don’t like to venture into new foods!

The neighborhood gem in Falls Church, VA is one of my favorite restaurants. It’s authentic Afghan food, so delicious and fresh. I like to try a variety of things when dining there, and Matt the owner, is so attentive and hospitable. Be sure to check it out next time your near Falls Church. It’s located across from the actual Falls Church from circa 1732 at 114 East Fairfax Street. They also have a full bar.

The food was very good, especially the entrees. The meat was so incredibly tender and flavorful. The portions were nice as well. Their version of a green sauce is vinegar based and more like a chimicurry. Not a problem, it was delicious, but I prefer the green yogurt sauce found at other places. My wife and I were in DC celebrating our 8 year anniversary and heard about Sakina Halal Grill from family. We heard how they feed numerous homeless people and treat them with dignity and respect. We HAD to support this business but aside from that the food was absolutely DELICIOUS! My wife had boneless lamb and I had chicken. They were cooked to perfection. Tender meat full of flavor and our appetizers were just as good. We had veggie pakora and the chicken samosas. Overall I highly recommend eating here you won’t regret it. 👍🏽💯

I live in Florida and I’ve been to eat here hundreds of times in the last 10 years. When I fly in I choose DCA just so I can have the Palace when I land and before I leave. The food is great (please try the chickpeas) It can be absolutely chaos because of how popular it is I’ve been there at 3 am with a crowd. Just call ahead makes life easy. They have been the most consistent and delicious restaurant in my life.
