Amazing restaurant experience! The staff was knowledgeable and provided excellent service. The visit from Chef Rick Bayless was an unexpected pleasure as well.

Recommended foods

Good all around. Some of the dishes did not stand out as much as the rest, but everything tasted good, waiters were very attentive to refilling water and replacing dirty napkins. The candy at the end (the multicolored ball) had a very strong alcohol taste, which is my only real complaint. Other then that, good stuff.

Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. Staffs are professional, friendly and well knowledgeable. I was personally impressed by the visit from Chef Rick Bayless, what an opportunity!

The best place, time, food, wait staff in the city! Appreciate their covid-related practices. Socially distanced group seating, mask requirement, no menus (scan QR code with your phone to access the inventive menu of delicious creations from chef Rick Bayless)

My sister and I tried the classic tasting menu with wine pairings and had a fantastic meal with wonderful service. The tortilla soup was so rich and flavorful and the steak was perfect. Highly recommend while in Chicago

The staff was very professional and accommodating. Watching the courses being prepared in the test kitchen was a rare treat. Each course was thoughtfully crafted and prepared. Just when we thought it could not get any better, Chef Bayless stopped by each table to greet the diners. What an amazing evening. Thank you
