Tropicuba Restaurant (prices + menu + location)

Tropicuba Restaurant has excellent Cuban food in a clean, modest atmosphere, at a very reasonable price.  I had two beef empañadas with a side of black beans..  Everything was terrific!  The flavors of the two were perfectly complementary

We we’re in Chicago for our honeymoon, we decided to stop here for lunch. My husband is Cuban and was looking forward to some authentic Cuban food. The staff was very friendly, we ordered empanadas, tamales, and a chicken and pork entree, I had the coconut flan for dessert and everything was really delicious and fresh

We were at home at 17 miles from this restaurant. But we went there because the excellent food. People are wonderful and friendly. We were late, around 5 minutes before closing, but they took our order to go with a smile. Food is excellent and I cannot wait to go over there again. Don’t wait, explore Cuban food

Our favorite Cuban place in Chicago!……owners and or family often on site. Great authentic food. Super good service. FAIR PRICES. Feels and tastes much closer than 90miles if you know what I mean

I was driving by saw it stopped in ordered. Food was ready in less than ten min. Cuban cheese steak…I’ve never had it, was thinking Philly, but it’s definitely better and not too cheesy which is good for my calorie counting. The ground beef empanada…had a very good flavor. Boiled yuca was good. And the two sauces I got, no idea what they were bc they didn’t seem like the typical mojo but it was so good. Good find
