Dolo Restaurant and Bar

Dolo is my favorite restaurant in Chinatown, bar none. Not only is it super modern – in terms of interior design – the food is so darned amazing. I love salt and pepper shrimp (no shell) and the French style beef tenderloin the most. Talk about FLAVOR!

Well-priced dim sum spot in Chinatown that serves dim sum all day. They have all the traditional dishes but their siu mai is probably one of their best dishes, a perfect blend of shrimp and pork. They also have a lot of options for main or side dishes that one can order as well from a separate menu. They serve chrysanthemum tea. Service is fast and the servers speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, although one can order by marking

First time experiencing dim sun and this place was amazing. We ordered so much food and our party of 4 barely finished. All food was just the right amount along with the flavor of the dish was nothing like I’ve had before. Inside they can work on a few things, had storage in the main area … little odd…but hey, it is not my establishment and I am not going to review on looks . The food was amazing …service was quick and accommodating. Visit here soon

This is not Wu House, this is authentic Asian food without the Americanized flavors. So if you’re used to your local Chinese restaurants, this is completely different. This is what you would find in parts of Asia, but everything was still very good. They have a lot of potstickers and dumplings all very tasty. They had the white flat noodle dishes, soups are very good, the service was great. There were a lot of people in the restaurant very clean, modern decor we would definitely return again. The prices are very reasonable by today’s standards as we all know prices have gone up, but the prices here we’re still reasonable.

Excellent dim sum and equally good dinner dishes too. The rice porridge is yummy, both the mushroom one and the pumpkin one. Tried so many small plates for dim sum, all prepared hot and fresh Yea bag checked and the string bean dishes are just a couple of tasty dishes They have a small free parking lot, but metered parking is easy to find too

Very delicious. Ordered the seafood soup with noodles. Staff very helpful and can speak English. Dine in dining available which is s big plus right now in Chinatown. Recommend this to anyone coming here. Worth the short walk This is a great restaurant in Chicago’s Chinatown. We went on a Saturday during the day so it was their dim sum menu. We’ve also been to dinner when the full menu was available. The food is great. The scallion cakes and corn/shrimp dumplings were my favorite. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful with some of the unique dishes. I love visiting this place. Chicago’s Chinatown is one of the few in the country that continues to grow.
