This sushi restaurant is set intimately in a converted Brownstone that adds to the experience. The food quality is above average for comparable sushi restaurants. However, the price point is commensurate. The crispy rice and crispy spicy shrimp are family favorites. The real surprise is with the desserts. The layered crepe cake was perfect.

CRAZY good. first of all: the service was immaculate. they take your bags for you at the entrance so you don’t have to worry about them at the bar, they also come refill your water before your glass is even finished. we were sat at the bar and it was a great experience, the cook was very quick with our food and it was delicious, he would sometimes ask how we liked our sushi and he’d make it in that way. by the way: the tuna tartar was seriously one of the best things i’ve ever eaten. i could go on and on about this dish.

The variety and the flavors were very good. We had a large table that ordered a lot of different things. The drinks were also really well made and very quick to arrive. The only reason this doesn’t get five stars is for the price. I’m looking for perfection. But this is a great place to have a large group.
Arrived at 7:45pm for our reservation on a Friday night and it was PACKED. Seated upstairs after 15 minutes of waiting like sardines by the bar. The wait was worth it. The tuna tarts app with white truffle was delicious. For entrees, I got the wagyu skirt steak and it was perfectly charred, super flavorful and juicy. My boyfriend got the chilean sea bass and it melted in our mouths. Portions are a bit small, but presentation is excellent. We got a side bowl of rice which went a long way to feeling full by the end of the meal. Perfect place for a special occasion / date night — will definitely be back.

We celebrated our anniversary at this chic trendy Japanese spot! Ordered an assortment of sushi, TORO TARTARE, GRILLED AGED NY STRIP STEAK, and GRILLED WAGYU SKIRT STEAK to share. Enjoyed the incredible food and the good service.
