Real experience

The food was amazing! And all you can eat. This was my first time going and I promise I will be back. The people were not mean about wanting another piece. All smiles. The cool part was the salmon being cooked right In front of you and I thought that was amazing getting your food fresh off the grill. The had a salad bar, a condiments bar a dessert bar…

I had an incredibly good time here. Is it expensive, yes, but that’s because their crab is mo after sizes, their servings are massive and the experience is second to none. Me and my party had an absolutely incredible experience. The owner walks around serving, chatting, helping and just being generally a very kind person. The salmon is sooooo good, the crab and their dips for their food are bomb. I will be going back there again before I leave.

I was the one charged with looking at the reviews. After eating there, I don’t know how anybody could say it was anything less than a 5 star event. We showed up at about 6. Tons of parking. Easy in. The weather was 75 and Sunny. We immediately went to the front of the line, because nobody was in line lol.

We went through the buffet line and load it up our plates with as much as we wanted (Mac n cheese baked beans and potatoes), expecting that we were going to get about a small 6 oz piece of fish. WRONG! The wife and I decided to get the cod and we got three huge pieces and it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The boy got salmon that was char grilled. A nice large piece and it was GREAT.

A little bit too sweet of a glaze for the boy, but I loved it. We sat under the Spruce trees and feasted, drank beers and really enjoyed the event.

We bought this as an excursion from Holland America, and initially we were concerned.
The same and bake business had contracted with various buses to pick up the patrons from their hotel and at the end of the evening return them safely.
When we arrived, our guide took us through the front door which is a re-creation of one of the local mines.
he took us to the entry point where we gave them our last name, they looked us up, asked us for protein order, dessert order, gave us the appropriate information and sent us in the direction of drinks and salads.
They also took our cell phone number and when our protein orders were ready, they sent us a text!! Very cool use of technology!
We gathered our salads, our drinks, silverware, and headed to the dining hall.

Was with a large group of our RV club. Salmon was very good as was Mac n cheese. Would have liked a little more variety of sides to be offered. My husband had the fried cod which he said was just ok. Folks who had prime rib said was very good. Was a fun time. No frills dining room. Grest when you have a larger group so all can eat at same time. We ate inside bc the mosquitoes outside were ravenous
