Amazing food presentation. I started with five different dishes. I loved every bite, but other dishes were just so-so for me. The dining room is clean and modern. However, I deducted 1 star because I finished my glass of wine, and no one asked me for another. They simply served the food and left. I had to find someone to order. and my 2nd glass too. So I decided to finish for a drink. But overall was very good for my birthday dinner.

I went there to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and the service was amazing. They are very friendly and very nice. However, the food was a bit salty for almost every dishes. Overall it was ok but we loved the desserts there, it was refreshing and not too sweet.

I would recommend you guys to try it once for any special occasion or regular normal meal.

Jungsik is renowned for its contemporary Korean cuisine and seems to be the first restaurant in New York to make a name with this style. I visited with high expectations, and the food’s color, aroma, taste, and presentation were all outstanding. However, I was torn between giving a 4 or 5-star rating due to the balance of dish elements and the dining atmosphere. For most restaurants, excelling in one or two aspects such as flavor, aroma, presentation, or atmosphere is commendable, but for a Michelin two-star restaurant that symbolizes contemporary Korean cuisine, my expectations were higher.

The culinary experience ultimately showcased an excellent fusion of traditional Korean flavors with modern cooking techniques, elevating the taste sensations. The freshness and seasonal relevance of the ingredients were visually appealing and stimulated the appetite. The plating was exceptional, particularly the desserts, which were creatively designed and memorable.

Went for Christmas eve dinner. It was a great fine dining experience. Desserts were exceptional. Literally blown away by every dish. Everything was perfect- food, ambiance, and the service. I’d love to visit this place again for a special day.

I have tried two three michellin stars in New York and I feel like this one deserve it too. We always compare our fine dining experience to this place because we love it a lot. The food is very unique and taste amazing. The wine pairing is also great and the staff that brings the drink changes everytime bringing us new knowledge about the drink. Its a great place and would definitely come again!
